we need to prevent another zim forming in sa. multi parties are the only way to do it. i feel we have to also support the smaller parties so that the power is shared amongst multiple parties.

I am also politically "homeless" but the ANC/COPE split has been very interesting to follow.

Aha , Very interesting. I think this party needs all the support they can get. Lets give them a chance , but keep in mind that this is Africa and only the tough survive. COPE has a few former ANC heavyweights and the public response has so far been encouraging for them.
